Efficient and Rapid Heating
Heat is generated directly inside the heated object without being transferred through thermal conduction, resulting in little heat loss and fast heating speed (for example, small-sized metal parts can be heated to several hundred degrees Celsius in a few seconds to a few minutes).
Flexible and Convenient Operation
The handheld coil design allows it to heat in narrow spaces (such as pipe interfaces, mechanical gaps) or close to irregular workpieces. Moreover, it does not need to contact the workpiece, avoiding the problem of tool contamination of the workpiece.
Precise and Controllable Heating
The power and heating time can be adjusted through the host to achieve local heating (only the area covered by the coil's magnetic field is heated), which is suitable for scenarios with strict requirements on the heating range (such as welding specific solder joints, local annealing).
Good Safety
The coil itself does not generate high temperature (only magnetic field effect), and the host is usually equipped with overcurrent, overheating, and short-circuit protection functions, reducing the risk of operators being scalded (but attention should still be paid to avoiding scalds or fires caused by overheating of metal workpieces).
Environmentally Friendly
Compared with flame heating (such as gas welding), there is no open flame or exhaust gas emission; compared with resistance heating, it has higher energy utilization efficiency, which meets the requirements of energy conservation and environmental protection.
Metal Processing Field
Local welding (such as copper pipe butt joint, wire terminal welding), annealing of metal parts (to eliminate stress), quenching (to improve surface hardness); Removing rusted bolts/nuts (heating to expand the metal and loosen rust).Maintenance and Installation.Heating flange interfaces during pipeline maintenance (to facilitate the replacement of seals), heating bearings in automobile maintenance (to make them expand for easy installation/removal).
Laboratories and Small-Batch Production
Heating experiments of small metal samples, local heating and shaping of metal blanks in jewelry processing.
Other Special Scenarios
Thawing frozen metal parts, removing paint or coatings from metal surfaces (softening them by heating for easy removal).
